The C.P.S. Lab was a specialized research and design team dedicated to high-performance sportswear. As part of the team, I was challenged to develop the definitive esports kit for professional athletes, focusing on the unique, technical demands of the game. Every detail was engineered for performance, from integrated silicone knee patches to stabilize keyboards to specialized pockets for gloves and gear. To support long-duration play, we added moisture-wicking and water-resistant treatments, alongside velcro panels for logo patches. Key design elements included ventilated mesh hoods and ribbed side panels for comfort, with slick graphics and trims to give it the iconic Champion aesthetic. While the initial collection was designed for men, the growth of female leagues prompted us to develop a women’s kit, featuring a hooded tunic with the same attributes as the men’s, paired with a performance tee and fashion leggings to tie the whole look together. The result was a collection that ensured each player was battle-ready while maintaining a sophisticated, high-performance look.
