The Modern Varsity collection fused clean, contemporary silhouettes with minimal yet elegant trims. Part of the challenge was to own and renew the iconic global stripe, so I developed a mesh tape and used this as a tuxedo stripe on tops and bottoms. I focused the color concept around the deeper hues of the season, with levels of berry, apricot and gold next to the comfort of desert browns and rich greens. Combined with our heritage palette of navy and rich red, a welcomed warmth for Fall unfolded. We also added thoughtful hits of the global stripe to places such as the back neck of a tee shirt or the front hem of the seamless bra.
